The El Buen Pastor E.C.D.C. has been fortunate to enjoy several successes of varied dimensions throughout the years. As a permanent goal of the Center, students are encouraged to become productive members of society. El Buen Pastor E.C.D.C. believes it is attaining this goal. For example, at a recent reunion, each of the students of the original 1975 childcare class was recognized for their personal accomplishments. Many were graduates from post-secondary institutions, such as Baylor University, the University of Texas at Austin, Columbia, Notre Dame, a fellowship to attend Stanford, St. Edward’s University and Austin Community College. Many of the classes’ alumni are full-time employees in law firms, insurance groups, and other professional sectors of the Austin work force.

Isla Bayer-Flores

Years attended: 1987 to 1997
Favorite Memory of El Buen Pastor E.C.D.C.: Was going to the zoo with all my friends and eating wonderful sandwiches.
What she's up to now: Isla volunteered her time with the school agers at El Buen Pastor E.C.D.C. Currently in Washington working with Representative Lloyd Doggett and attending school full-time.

Mark Ray Vasquez

Years attended: 1985
What's he's up to now: Mark and his wife Rena currently have their three children, Daesia, Mark Jr. and Isaiah enrolled at El Buen Pastor E.C.D.C.

Brittney Briones

Years attended: 1988-1995
Favorite Memory of El Buen Pastor E.C.D.C.: Spending the summer here
What's she's up to now: Brittney is currently attending Austin Community College.

Sarah Vasquez

Years Attended: 1985-1986
Favorite memory about attending here: One day it rained and Alma ran outside to the little shed to bring our artwork to take home to our parents. She carried them under her shirt so they wouldn't get ruined by the rain but she was soaked.
What's she is up to now: Sarah currently works as the office assistant at El Buen Pastor Early Childhood Development Center.

Joseph Vasquez

Years Attended: 1985-1986
What's He is up to Now: Joseph and his girlfriend currently have their first child Annabelle enrolled in the infant room at El Buen Pastor Early Childhood Development Center.
